Brno, Mar 15 (BD) – The hospital made the announcement on social media at 3pm today: “Please come in your own car to minimize contamination of your surroundings. Drive directly to the tents and do not get out. Do not use public transport, do not walk, and do not walk around the hospital premises. Cars only. The entrance is via the gatehouse from Kamenice Street. The tents are operating for the time being from 7am to 7pm every day.”
The tents at FN Brno are in their third day of operation. From today, a paediatric nurse or doctor is present in case the nasopharyngeal smear needs to be administered to a child patient.
Otherwise, the tents will be staffed by students from the Masaryk University Faculty of Medicine and medical staff of FN Brno. “The three tents provided by our Emergency Medical Team are currently operating well,” wrote FN Brno on Facebook earlier today.
